Women In The MakingMinistries, Inc.
From a single circle of prayer to a sisterhood spanning communities — this is who we are, what we believe, and why we exist.
Prophetess La Wanda Parks Davis knows what it means to be unmade before being remade. Out of her own season of brokenness — and the healing she found in God's presence and the company of praying women — a conviction was born: no woman should have to walk her hardest seasons alone.
She began gathering a handful of women in living rooms and fellowship halls. Word spread. The circle grew. What started as a prayer meeting became a ministry, and that ministry became Women In The Making — a place where women are met with truth, surrounded with love, and sent out with purpose.
"I don't lead women to me. I lead them to the One who can make them whole."
We envision a generation of women — healed, equipped, and unified — who carry faith boldly into their homes, workplaces, churches, and nations. Whole women who make whole families, who build whole communities.
Everything begins and ends with the Word of God. Scripture is our foundation, not an accessory.
No masks, no performance. We create rooms where women can be honest and still be loved.
We make space for restoration — emotional, spiritual, and relational — without shame or hurry.
We honor God and the women we serve with quality, preparation, and intentionality in all we do.
We don't just inspire — we equip. Every woman leaves with next steps for her calling.
As a 501(c)(3), we steward every gift to reach more women and more communities, faithfully.
The women who carry the vision of Women In The Making day in and day out.

La Wanda answers the call to ministry, gathering a small group of women for prayer and Bible study. The seed of a movement is planted.
Women In The Making is formally established and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our flagship women's conference launches, drawing women from across the region for worship and teaching.
We begin formal leadership development, raising up small-group leaders and mentors within the sisterhood.
The ministry crosses ten thousand women served through conferences, groups, and outreach.
Our largest gathering yet — a prophetic conference in Houston, Texas featuring Apostle John Eckhardt.
We believe in one God, revealed in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our guide for life. We believe every woman is created with dignity, purpose, and a calling — and that through Christ she can be healed, restored, and released into all she was made to be.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." — Proverbs 31:25
